Anita S. Rodgers, an experienced educational consultant, is best known for her training and development expertise in mentoring, adult education and family literacy. An accomplished writer and instructional designer, she has published a variety of articles, manuals, and award winning products related to literacy and reading instruction.

Her consulting practice has included a variety of educational clients including, schools (K-12), community colleges, community and faith-based organizations, corrections, and libraries.  She served as the Director of the Florida Literacy Coalition, Director of the Region III Adult Literacy Center, and on numerous taskforce groups sponsored by the Florida Department of Education.  Her most recent position, Senior Vice President of Training and Instructional Design, involved her in work on educational initiatives under the administration of Governor Jeb Bush. 

She has served as a curriculum consultant to Scholastic, Inc. and developer of a reading and parent involvement program for Just Read, Florida!, Florida Department of Education.  Anita has a Master of Education Degree from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida.
